It’s been ages since the last time I posted. The last post was the first day of school. I’m on the second quarter now! Ok so here are my new classes:

Math : Same as before. The math teacher is SO WEIRD! I like the content (Algebra II ) but I don’t like the teacher very much.
Science : Same as before. The teacher is really cool.
Language Arts : This is taught by one of my favorite teachers in the school! It’s a really fun class! I love the philosophy of the teacher and her teaching methods. Right now we’re doing sentence structure
Social Studies : Another one of my favorite teachers in the school! REALLY FUN CLASS! I love the philosophy and teaching methods!
Images of Greatness : Same teacher as LA. It’s really fun! We debate a lot, and we write biographies at the end of the quarter. I’m doing Steve Jobs for my biography!
Spanish : Funny teacher, fun class, though the teaching methods are a little weird.
Orchestra : Fun, as always!

And so that’s school… Next… LIFE!

Well I’ve been taking care of our neighbor’s dog. He is a nice dog.
We just got rid of the wooden playset in our backyard. Now our backyard looks empty.
My mom’s been working a lot
A lot of my friends are on fall break. Except for me. I don’t get fall break.

Well I need to get reading. I need to read up to act 2 scene 1 in Hamlet and I’m only on act 1 scene 3 (out of 5)

First Day of School

Well, technically, yesterday was the first day of school, but we just did an explanation day. Today was my first day that I actually had all of my core classes.

First up, I went to 8th grade accelerated math. I’ve heard that the math teacher is mean, but from how he acted today, he seems pretty cool. We first made a seating chart and sat down. We just basically went over what we needed for the class, procedures, and stuff like that.

Next, I had science. We looked over our text books, and designed our covers for our spirals.

After that, I had accelerated language arts. We went over the things we’ll do for the year, and we did a paper where we had a grid with different things on it, and we tried to find people who had to do with a square (for example, one of the said: Speaks a foreign language, and if you do, then you would initial the box)

Lunch was next, basically an average school lunch.

Then, I had social studies. When we came in we listened to some music, and did this thing called “On time lottery”. If you were there on time, the teacher would put a question on the board, and draw a name, and if you were drawn, you would answer the question, and if you were correct, she would say “Hit the closet!” and the person who answered it right would go over to the closet and get a piece of candy from her box.

My first exploratory was Architecture. We walked in, chose our seats, and sat down. The teacher then told us to work on our “Secret Pal envelopes” where you would get an envelope and decorate it, and hang it up on the wall. Say you were someone named Bob’s secret pal, you would get some gifts for Bob, and leave it in his envelope.

Then, my least favorite class so far, Health. We talked about the health triangle, and nothing really else.

My last class, Orchestra was next. We got assigned lockers, and nothing really else, except for chatting while the other instruments went and got lockers.

Well there was me second day of school, and the first day of core classes.

I’m sad. TOMORROW WE GO BACK TO SCHOOL.WAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAH!

Anyways, it’s really surprising. Summer went by so fast! Here is a list of things I did this year:

May 22-30: Greece
June 11-19: Grand Canyon
July 22-26: Rocky Mountain National Park

so from May 21-Now went by so fast! But it was SO FUN!!! Well I have to eat dinner now, so I’ll ttyl. BYE!!!

Hey you guys this is Josh posting from my email. Today, I am going to a water park with youth group. I can’t wait! It’s the biggest and best water park in America. Three guesses… That’s right! Hey hey hey how y’all doin’? Sorry I haven’t been able to post, I’ve been CAMPING ! So you guys this is my first time doing post by email, and you can see my email signature below … I love that joke… so really how have you guys been doing? No deaths? No sickness? No giving birth? No getting bitten by a snake, etc.? I have not had any of those things happen this week thank gosh, but I might get a dsi in a 2-7 days, so . But the sad thing is two of my friends (sisters) are moving to a city 15 miles away so that makes me sad . So I’m about to eat dinner so ttyl!

Hey you guys… if you knew me before I quit blogging, you would know I don’t post a lot… But right now it is 2 in the morning, I cannot sleep and I have no idea what to do. So I thought, I should post, there’s something to do. So a week and a half ago it was the fourth of july, or independence day, but we got rained out on fireworks. So Yeah. When I can’t sleep, I can’t think very well, so I’ll post later. Sorry for the short post.
